May is recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month, providing opportunity to combat stigma and highlight the need for continued efforts to support the behavioral health challenges many individuals face. 1 in 5 adults experience a mental illness each year, but less than half receive treatment. Additionally, rates of substance use disorder continue to increase year over year. As one of the nation鈥檚 largest managed care organizations, we strive to provide equitable access and culturally humble treatment for all to drive positive change in the communities we serve.

福利视频鈥檚 HALO (Health Assistance, Linkage, and Outreach)鈩 program leverages evidence-based predictive modeling to identify and prevent members at risk of developing substance use disorders and treat those already diagnosed to avoid worsening of symptoms -- ultimately broadening care options, improving access to treatment, and fostering recovery. HALO considers the physical, mental, and environmental needs that may be triggering substance use, empowering our care managers to leverage enhanced screenings to inform treatment recommendations for optimal outcomes. This whole health approach to substance use intervention promotes early identification of co-occurring health conditions to encourage coordination of care.

At 福利视频, our evidence-based clinical programs, community partnerships, and commitment to wellness and education help us deliver a comprehensive approach to mental healthcare. Learn more about our commitment to solving for barriers to mental health treatment in our impact brief linked below:
