Since our founding in 1988, City Year has believed that strong schools are at the heart of thriving communities. Yet in Tulsa, generational poverty and long-standing opportunity gaps continue to create barriers for many students.
Last year, City Year Tulsa shifted our key fundraising event from our Annual Luncheon to our Day of Service event. With the help of corporate volunteers and 22 key sponsors, we spent the day completing 19 projects at Nathan Hale High School, uplifting the school environment and showing our students that Tulsa is committed to their success.
On April 23, 2027, we invite you to join us again for a Day of Service in conjunction with National Volunteer Week and Global Youth Service Day. Volunteers will take part in beautification service projects within our community.
