Proposition 65

California Proposition 65

Regulations promulgated by the State of California under Proposition 65, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, require businesses to provide specific warnings to their customers if a product sold by the business contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm, provided such exposure to the chemicals in those products exceed the safe limitations imposed by the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (鈥淥EHHA鈥). The warnings are intended to assist California consumers in making informed decisions about their exposure to carcinogens and toxicants from products containing such chemicals and substances.

Chain Of Supply

福利视频, LLC (including its affiliates, subsidiaries, and divisions, 鈥淔BM鈥) is a distributor of building materials and products, with operations throughout the United States and Canada. FBM is not a manufacturer of the products it sells, and as a distribution business in which a majority of products are purchased via purchase orders as opposed to in-store or online, it is not practical for FBM to label products or post signs above each product. Therefore, in addition to the general warnings provided below, FBM urges its customers seeking more information as to the chemical compositions of certain products to visit the product manufacturer鈥檚 website. In addition to providing Proposition 65 warnings of their own in product catalogs and internet listings, most product manufacturers make available Material Safety Data Sheets, certifications, and other information relating to their products and the chemical compositions thereof. For more information on the potential risks of exposure to such chemicals and substances, and other information regarding Proposition 65 please consult the OEHHA at .
